Did you ever know that eating food can also lead you to weight loss. Foods with negative calories are the one's which use more calories to digest than the one absorbed from them. It is difficult to absorb all the calories form these kind of foods and hence there is lesser gain of calories to the body. These foods generally are high in fibers. Though negative calorie foods are good to have to reduce those extra fats, these food items are not recommended to be eaten in huge quantities as they might result into serious deficit of nutrients for the body (if eaten in excess). The negative calorie diet contain fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and some herbs, rightly-prepared red meat and poultry and a small amount of eggs. The negative calorie diet also encourages consuming lots of calorie-free fluids.

The negative calorie diet is not about avoiding food–it is about avoiding “junk” foods such as the “fast foods” and the preserved, processed foods that are such a staple of modern diets. These kinds of foods contain so little of the kind or mix of vitamins and minerals that stimulate the production of enzymes that they don’t get broken down fast enough. The body that relies mainly on these foods for nutrients burns off less of them per day than it takes in. There cannot be any other result from this than the putting on of pounds over time–on average, one extra pound per 10 to 14 days. Over time, this really adds up.

How to device a plan for negative calorie diet?

To eat a negative calorie diet, know that you will have to cut back on normal high calorie foods. Understand that calories are the most important thing when it comes to losing or gaining weight. The foods on the negative calorie diet are low calorie, which means you can eat more than foods high in calories. This way you stay full and are not hungry. Hungry people overeat and gain weight!

Negative calorie foods also take more energy to digest, so you can burn more calories just by eating. When you eat foods that are high fiber or of substance they do take longer to digest and the body has to use more energy/calories to do it.

Prepare to eat a vegetarian diet. All the foods on the negative calorie diet lists are fruits and vegetables.

Start by cutting down on meat and other high fat, high calorie foods like cheese, alcohol. It would be a good idea to do a detoxification which would ensure that you start fresh.

Indeed negative calorie diet would help you to reduce that extra fat without you spending your time and effort in the gym.
